The Future Is Now!
The future is now! Implementing one or the other small new routine may bring you major results in the long run. For example, I have a friend who asked me to join the no sugar challenge of her program. I have not been eating a lot of sugar for years, but I thought ‘why not’, it took only 1/2 an hour for a few days and it was a really good friend who asked. And guess what…..
On day one the ladies of the program tell you to go through all your cabinets and your fridge. We did, not thinking to find much, but…. My husband was eating vanilla yogurt thinking vanilla is a natural sweetener (and wonderful sugar alternative) and found out that there was 16 grams of added sugar in 3/4 of a cup of yoghurt; that’s nearly 4oz of sugar a week or 12.5lb a year! Solution: just pick another yoghurt in the supermarket. Easy peasy! And hint: pick a good Greek yoghurt for easy proteins.

For years we all have been reading about the fact that a lot of our foods don’t have the minerals and vitamins anymore which it used to have (you don’t have to be a health-conscious person like me to know that). So, my thought back then… why not drinking a good herb tea every morning after breakfast (or whenever you like). These teas are usually tasting better anyway than regular tea and yes… it was so easy to implement that in my daily routine. If I don’t get my tea now, it’s like starting the day without my coffee (definitely a no-go).
